The Cat Hotel
A Hotel for Cats!
The Cat Hotel, located in our historical century home in the heart of London, Ontario, offers cat boarding service for your feline friend. The pet boarding facility is affiliated with Central Cat Hospital, so should the need arise, veterinary care is only a staircase away. If necessary, our trained staff can also administer medication to your feline family member.
Grooming Service
We offer grooming services to keep your cat or kitten looking purrfect!
Our groomers will have a phone consultation or meet with you personally to discuss your cat’s specific needs and recommend just the right service.
Frank
Meet Frank! If you want a dog but don’t want all the work involved with a dog he is the cat for you! Frank is one of the most loveable cats anyone will ever meet! He soaks up any attention he can get purring non-stop. Frank has tested positive for FIV & Feline Leukemia. This, however, does not mean that he cannot live a happy life. Frank was scheduled to be euthanized but Dr Cheung wanted to give this sweet boy a chance. He is doing well right now which is why we are hoping he can spend whatever time he has left with a special family with no other cats who will spoil him!
Call the hospital if you can give this loveable guy a chance! 519-660-0300

Dr. Dorothy Cheung, DVM
Dr. Dorothy Cheung graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 1997 and began working at Central Cat Hospital in June 2001. She has always felt a special affinity for cats, and here at Central Cat Hospital, she has been privileged to be able to hone and focus her skills on her favourite species.
She was inspired to become a feline specialist by her late beloved cats, Ginny and Floyd. Dr. Dorothy rescued Ginny from the animal shelter in Oakville in 1996 before graduating from OVC, and they were inseparable until the end.
Floyd was in very rough shape when he first came to us with a severe eye injury and several wounds, but our team nursed him back to full health. Floyd was beyond grateful to Dr Dorothy and showered her with all of his love and affection until he passed from lung cancer.
Dr Dorothy, aged 6 years old with her cat named Pinky, in Victoria, BC.
Since then, Dr Dorothy shares her home and hospital with the many cats she has come across in need of rescue. She loves how every cat has a unique personality and each of her patients and rescues brings her a lot of joy. Right now, Dr Dorothy enjoys teaching her cats tricks that many people think that only dogs would perform like jumping through her arms and giving high fives.
Dr. Dorothy is licensed by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario and regularly attends veterinary conferences and symposiums nationwide as a part of her ongoing education in feline health. She is also a member of the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) and OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association).
AAFP (American Associate of Feline Practitioners) Certified Feline Advocate.
