Household Items Which Are Poisonous

Many household products can be toxic to cats and kittens. A cat may be exposed to a product while it is being used, or because it was stored improperly and the curious cat or kitten gained access to it. Always store cleaning products, and the other items listed below, out of the reach of children and pets.

Is Your Cat Plump?

It’s quite easy to tell if your cat is overweight or not, just run your hands over his/her ribs. You want to be able to feel the ribs but not be able to see them. Also, look at your cat’s waistline from above. There should be an indent in front of the hips. If you cannot feel your cat’s ribs and there is no defined ‘waistline’, then you should try to help him/her lose some weight, because it’s quite likely they are overweight
